Statistics: Russia’s inflation slows down to 0.1% Nov 13–Monday

MOSCOW, Nov 21 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation growth slowed down to 0.1% from November 13 through Monday from 0.2% in the previous week and reached 3.3% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

In the reported week, prices for millet grew by 1.7%, for sugar by 1.2%, for poultry by 0.7%, for salt by 0.5%, for flour by 0.4%, and for beef, butter, cheeses, pasteurized milk, bread, buckwheat, and rice by 0.3%.

Prices for fruit and vegetables increased 1.6% on average. Cucumber prices rose by 8.1%, tomato prices by 5.3%, and onion prices by 2.8%. But apple prices fell 0.4%.

Gasoline prices remained flat and diesel fuel prices went up 2.2%.
